Number of visitors increased noticeably in the second day of Iran Plast 2010 International Exhibition and some 8 specialized sessions and workshops were held on the sidelines of this event.

This exhibition hosted an Iraqi delegation as well as the chairman of Iranian Guilds Council in its second day.

Qasem Nodeh Farahani, the chairman of Iranian Guilds Council, visited pavilions of the plastic industries associations and listened to the problems mentioned by their representatives.  

Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company holds conference on making relation with customers

On the sidelines of the seventh edition of Iran Plast International Exhibition, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company held a conference with the theme of making relation with customers. The conference, which was held in the second day of this exhibition, was participated by some directors and experts of companies which consume Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and those active in the weaving, packaging, pharmaceutics and other downstream petrochemical industries.

Third session of Iranian Plastic Industries Syndicate held

Third session of the Iranian Plastic Industries Syndicate was held attended by the plastic industry’s associations, raw materials providing cooperatives, industrial associations active in the plastic industry, director of commodity exchange market and the representative of committee for investigating the customers’ complaints. This session was held with the aim of investigating problems of plastic industries’ associations.

Welfare Departments’ children visit Iran Plast

Some children supported by the Welfare Departments of Tehran province visited children and young adults’ pavilion of Iran Plast International Exhibition.

Mohammadreza Rahmani, the director of this pavilion, stated that this is the second edition of the exhibit in which this pavilion is held.

The history of petrochemical industry is showed to the children in this pavilion through pictures and plays.

Session held between commodity exchange market’s representatives and polymer raw materials buyers

This session was held in the second day of Iran Plast Exhibition in order to investigate opportunities as well as the challenges in terms of selling petrochemical products in the commodity exchange market. Kabiri, director of Kabir Industrial Group, and Parsa, board of directors’ chairman of Plastic Kar Company, expounded upon the problems their companies face in terms of buying raw materials from the commodity exchange market.

Challenges in exports of domestically-made plastic products investigated

A specialized session was held on the sidelines of Iran Plast 2010 International Exhibition with the aim of investigating opportunities as well as challenges Iranian plastic industry faces to export its products to the regional as well as African markets.

Reza Mohtashamipour, the chairman of Downstream Industries Development Office, Dr. Isa Mansouri, the representative of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for developing industrial clusters in Iran, and some representatives for Iranian chambers of commerce attended this session.

Specialized workshops and sessions

Some specialized sessions and workshops were held in the second day of Iran Plast International Exhibition, such as preliminary training workshop in terms of the future contracts and workshop on the principles of Iranian commodity exchange market’s deals, as well as a long session between Iraqi traders and Iranian producers.  

Presence of publications and media

Plastic Industry Magazine and Packaging Industries Magazine distributed their special editions about Iran Plast International Exhibition in the second day of the event. Rah-e Mardom and Donyay-e Eqtesad Daily Newspapers also distributed their special editions as the official dailies of the exhibition.

Iranian manufacturers to export machinery to Iraq

After participating in a meeting with Iraqi traders, Dr. Sodoudi, the secretary of Iranian Machinery Manufacturers Association, announced about some good agreements made between Iranian manufacturers and Iraqi traders for export of machinery to Iraq.
