Raw materials produced in Iran can compete with similar foreign products: managing director of Corbi Polymer Company 

IranPlast :‌Esmaeil Malakouti, managing director of Corbi Polymer Company, referred to the significance of producing plastic raw materials and stated that raw materials recently produced in Iran have competed with similar foreign products both in terms of quality and price.

“Our company, which was previously named as Masterbatch Irco, will participate in this edition of the exhibition with a new name.” the managing director of company further announced.
 
Malakouti commented that main problems of Iran Plast Exhibition are related to its place and highlighted that this exhibit enjoys some special and significant status in the region.
 
“Our company has participated in all editions of Iran Plast in order to have more cooperation with domestic competitors, get familiar with modern technology, gain access to export markets and better introduction of our products.” he further noted.
 
Elsewhere in his remarks, the managing director of Corbi Polymer Company evaluated holding Iran Plast Exhibition biennially as positive.
 
Since export of raw materials has been conducted in Iran, domestic producers have tried to boost quality of their products, so a completive environment has been created between domestically-made and foreign raw materials, he further commented.
 
Corbi Company’s initiatives are based on the market’s requirements and its new innovation is compounds which account for the largest amount of company’s sales and exports, managing director of the company highlighted adding Corbi has representatives in Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey and has also exported products to Russia.
 
Corbi Polymer Company started its activity in 1978 with the name of Masterbatch Irco for selling raw materials and additives specially Masterbatches and established its first factory in 1991.
