Eng. Shakeri, managing director of Parsian Company put emphasis on the special status of Iran Plast International Exhibition compared to the other Asian plastic exhibits.
He went on to say that Iran Plast enjoys such status because Iranian market holds some great part in the region.
After plastic exhibition of China, which has an important status because of Chinese large market, Iran Plast is the most important plastic exhibit in the region; he said and reiterated that organizers of this exhibition should preserve and continue this status.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he stated: "Production methods are traditional in our country and there are rare companies like Parsian which update their methods. Despite traditional production methods,Iranian machineries are still better than Chinese and Taiwanese ones and if Iranian companies manufacture plastic injection machines through applying modern technology, they could compete with top machinery manufacturers of the world."
Shakeri further announced that this company will showcase double-plate plastic injection machine as its new product in Iran Plast 2010 International Exhibition and referred to consuming less energy, taking less space, easy application and precise control as some advantages of this machine which enjoys combination of Italian and Korean designs and modern technology has been applied to manufacture it.
"We compete with the world's top manufacturers through manufacturing this machine. Parsian Company also intends to manufacture hydro machinery, which is manufactured in few countries, and we may showcase it in the next edition of Iran Plast.", he added.
Managing director of Parsian Company noted that domestic machinery manufacturing industry has progressed noticeably in such a way that just 200 machines were required in the country 20 years ago, while some 1200 machines were imported to Iran in the last year and domestic production has doubled as well.
In terms of holding Iran Plast Exhibition biennially, Shakeri commented that it is a very good idea, because the companies will have enough time to manufacture new machinery to showcase in the exhibit.
