Armin Akbari went on to say that while the global economic crisis has had many negative effects on the plastic industry, the strong Iranian companies managed to change the threats into the opportunities and continue their activity.
Active presence of domestic and foreign companies in this exhibition indicates the unique status as well as the advantages of Iranian plastic market; he stated adding Iranian companies could nullify the sanctions through their innovative strategies.
He stated that Iran Plast Exhibition has played some prominent role in removing problems, which were the result of sanctions, adding by inviting European companies to this event and showing realities of Iranian industry to them, Iran Plast removes many of their concerns which have been created by the western media.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he commented that holding Iran Plast Exhibition biennially deprives the companies from proper marketing, because this exhibit as one of the largest plastic markets in the region covers many annual contracts, but on the other side, it gives this opportunity to the exhibition organizers to conduct better information dissemination and the companies to participate in the event with newer plans.
Iran Plast 2010 International Exhibition will be held during June 23-26, 2010 participated by 250 foreign companies from 21 countries as well as over 400 Iranian companies.
