IranPlast is the largest and most important exhibition in different fields of petrochemical products, materials, machineries and services in Iran and one of the most magnificent ones in the Middle East and Asia.

History and Structure of National Petrochemical Company (NPC)
Petrochemical Industry creation dates back to last 50 years and 1950s. At the earliest decade chemical agency in the country was established by the Ministry of Economy in order to develop Petrochemical industry in the country and this company started to exploit the chemical fertilizer plant in Marvdasht, in Fars Province in 1958. Since the development of industry needed some more extended specialized activities harmonized with gas and oil industry so it was clear an organization was needed to develop and lead petrochemical industry, for this reason petrochemical industry national company was established underlying by Iran Oil National Company with government ownership and all related activities to establishment and development were focused in this company.
Engineer Mr. Bagher Mostofi was appointed as the first managing director in the National Petrochemical Company in 1965 and all designs of National Petrochemical Company before the Islamic Revolution were executed during his management. At present, National Petrochemical Company (NPC) is active as one of the four main companies in the Ministry of Petroleum. Due to the company constitution, Islamic Republic Presidency is responsible for shareholders general assembly head and Petroleum Minister is responsible for managing the board of company. It should be mentioned that it is for long years that NPC has the policy of decentralization as an epigraph by the aim of exploiting recovery in his job by following the economic development policies in the country as if execution of these designs is done by contractors and side companies do all the affairs related to production and distribution as needed services by company and NPC has limited all his acts to policy making ,Strategic programming as a specialized main company to develop the industry and high supervision.
Tehran Permanent Fairground:
Tehran Permanent Fairground is the most famous and magnificent exhibition site in Iran. It has been spread in a large area of more than 80.000 m2 indoor and 35.000 m2 outdoor spaces. 34 active exhibition halls are hosting more than 60 different exhibitions every year. Necessary services and requirements are available in the fairground, such as customs office, bank, insurance, 9 conference halls, internet, restaurants, truck, lift truck and winch, communication facilities and so on.
